Stamped Concrete
We can even dazzle up existing concrete. The brown edge around this pool and spa as
well as into the recessed patio area is spray deck. It is a spray on material that is two
and a half times stronger than concrete and you have a wide assortment of colors to
choose from. This material is great around pools because of its non skid surface and
durability.
Break away from the norm with a patio that has an irregular shape. It makes for a
warm and welcoming place to entertain or relax. Borders put a finishing touch on
a patio that would be plain otherwise.
Let our experience, help design functionality and beauty into your patio and steps.
Whether it is a raised patio or you need retaining walls built around a patio, we do it all.

Waterford Stamped Concrete
We can create an elegant sitting area around your spa, pool or even fire pit. If you
have a need, we can find a unique and beautiful way to fulfill it.
On this pool we poured white concrete around the entire pool area with spa, then
we installed spray deck around the inner and outer perimeters with a two tone tan
color for a nice accent.

Waterford Stamped Concrete
This is an English Yorkstone pattern that stands by itself. It is smooth enough to allow easy walking yet has great color depth
and grout impressions. Notice the varying widths in the grout lines that add that "Old World" look? By adding color highlights
we create a warm and inviting look that even real stone doesn't achieve.

Flowing lines with radius's create character in this unique patio. By creating a raised fire pit we separated this large 900sf patio
into an entertainer's delight. Notice how the decorative sawcuts transfer from level to level on the patio? This is a Roman Slate
pattern that is smooth yet has great depth in color and texture. Borders add that final touch that personalizes your retreat. We
added bamboo ivy accents to the border of this patio. They add elegance without being overpowering.
This is an Ashlar Cut Slate pattern, if you like clean lines and a chiseled look, this pattern is for you! This pattern has small
squares that look good on a small or large patio. In order to break up this 31' long step we added a small one foot "S" radius at
the end of the hot tub area. Notice how the edge of the fire pit and step are acid stained in order to tie every thing together? It
also acts as an accent to warn you of the elevation changes.
Clarkston Stamped Concrete
This pattern is a Yucatan seamless texture skin. This pattern is smooth also, however it still gives nice color variance and
texture. The "S" radius near the corner adds character when the california border is added.
This is our Grand Ashlar stamp and is clean lined and elegant. Sawcuts are easier to "hide" in this pattern and with our "v" groove sawcuts
blend quite nicely. This job has a Sun Buff integral color with Desert Tan release. We also installed some Terra Cota, Golden Sandstone and Ash
White highlights. Notice the detail in the close up? This pattern makes "balancing" your patio furniture easy because of the relatively flat
texture. It does not sacrifice on detail or impression.
Waterford Stamped Concrete
This is our Old Granite Seamless texture skin pattern. This texture is relatively flat and easy to walk on and keep clean.
It also takes color very well. We mimicked the colors of the stone wall and added highlights of verdi and terra cota to liven
things up and accent the garden. The long flowing radius edge with mission brown border creates an inviting and warm
entrance to this home. Notice the grass inlay stamps in the close up photo bordering the sidewalk? Our decorative
sawcutting solves the problem of hiding sawcuts and turns a negative into a beautiful positive.
This is our Old English Yorkstone pattern. It is a
great patio stamp, However, when you add flowing
lines to a walkway with a dark border it can stand by
itself. It is not a wonder that this is our #1 pattern.
This is our London Cobble pattern. It is more of a traditional
pattern that has that rough hewn look through depth of color.
This is a Limestone integral color base with Nutmeg release.
You can see an Ash White highlight in the lower right hand
corner and a Terra Cota highlight in the upper right hand
corner. This is another pattern that works well in most
environments.
This homeowner called me up for some work around his house.
This home is on a lake and had a regular basement. After walking
around their home I eyed the grades and told them that I believed
they had enough elevation to turn their home into a walk out
basement.
I pulled out my laser and sure enough it worked. We completed all
the work seen in this photo: Installing the French Doors, Retaining
Walls, Steps, Planting areas and patio.
With our experience we can envision and create an amazing
difference in your home also.
This is the smaller version of our Old English Yorkstone pattern. It has that same Old World look with the larger grout lines,
and this pattern also looks great on walkways. A radius gives character and flow to a patio or walk that makes each unique. It
is hard to find a straight line in nature and you can be so much more creative with your landscaping when a radius in
incorporated.
The key to a successful design is complimenting the design of your home or business. The back of this home is angled from
the center with a sitting room in the middle. We utilized that design into the patio and walk to create harmony. Go to the Step
page to see a close up of the steps.
This is our Grand Ashlar Slate stamp which has very clean lines and impressions. It takes color well yet has a very low profile
so that furniture doesn't wobble. The posts from the deck we surrounded with six inch pvc pipe in case they ever have to be
removed or replaced. We do not think in terms of the present only, we try to solve problems that may occur in the future also.
These two photo's show the alluring qualities of radiused walks. Whether it is a subtle bend or a flowing river, a radius
invites you to journey to its end.
This homeowner was searching for a specific look, Southern Colonial. They wanted a no gloss natural slate look as their
base. To start we poured a 42" footing for the raised patio, then added a drainage system for their flower beds on either side
of the doorwall. Notice the cantilevered edge on the patio and recessed wainscoating on the patio riser? The homeowner
came up with a grand idea with recessing the pillars into the patio. We installed knockouts when pouring the patio, then
conduit for the lighting on top. We then installed the block, cultured stone, top course of matching brick and limestone caps.
The cultured stone is the same stone that graces the front of the home. We poured the top to the fire pit the same color as
the limestone caps to bring everything together. The only work we subcontracted out was the electrical.
Clarkston Stamped Concrete
This is our popular Old English Yorkstone pattern with Terra Cota integral color, Walnut release and Mission Brown border.
The focal point of this patio is the natural gas fire pit.
Greys are becoming more and more popular. This is our Old English Yorkstone pattern with Pewter integral color and
numerous dark, medium and light accent colors and releases. It has a very natural appearance with the variances in color.
This patio was a challenge with it's multi levels and sunken
fire pit. The fire pit's seating area is exposed aggregate with
acid stained borders and a seamless texture skin stamped
bottom and step. We installed drains at the bottom of the step
to drain water. To bring attention to the raised patio we
poured an exposed aggregate border then cut our Stone
Parquet pattern into it and acid stained. The lower pattern we
kept simple with diamond sawcuts and a matching acid
stained border. With all of the different textures with
matching colors this becomes a visual journey of delight.
Clarkston Stamped Concrete
A little less expensive alternative to stamped concrete is
Exposed Aggregate. With diamond sawcuts and an acid
stained border this look is no less impressive as stamped
concrete. It takes skill to create multilevel's and retaining
walls with Exposed Aggregate, and the reward is evident.
We installed a natural gas line to the middle of the lower
patio for a gas fire place to be installed. When the
landscaping is completed this home will have a classic
beauty because of the Exposed Aggregate pato's.
Exposed Aggregate does not clash with any other textures. This home has a reclaimed brick facade and the homeowner
installed the castle stone walls and pillars. Where stamped concrete would have made all the different textures busy, the
exposed aggregate has a calming look that blends everything together. We used an integral earth tone color in the exposed
agg. that creates a brown hue base and the stones are the highlights. Notice the acid stained border surrounding the patio,
every nook is showcased by the border.
The photo on the left is the "before" photo, and the photo on the left is the "After" photo. The original entrance had the
pillars on the driveway and made the porch look like an afterthought. We started by bracing the overhang and removing the
pillars. we then removed the stucco from the front entrance and installed the cultured stone. This entrance has the door at a 45
degree angle. Cultured stone only comes in 90 degree bends, so we had to cut and then bevel the edges for a natural look. We
then poured a Roman Slate Texture skin pattern in greys and diamond sawcut it. Notice the cultured stone on the riser to the
entrance? We then shortened the pillars and built new bases and capitals out of Cypress so that they would not rot.

This job is over 1,200sf of stamped concrete. Our design
was to utilize radius' throughout the patio's and walks. We
wanted to compliment the angles of the home with curves
and depth from the raised patio's and flowing walkways. We
started with our Old English Yorkstone pattern, then
installed a Roman Slate texture skin border and then cut in
the varying block design on the sides of the patio's. We
used a pewter base with different grays and greens as
highlights. Lastly, we acid stained the borders and random
blocks on the sides of the raised patio's.
This is another example of exposed aggregate and it's classic beauty. This patio is 1,980sf of multi leveled diamond sawcut patio's. We mimicked the
unusal shape of this pool around the perimeter at five foot wide and separated the patio into three separate entertaining area's. We then finished it off with an
acid stained border and two coats of sealer with an anti slip additive.
Clarkston Stamped Concrete
This job is exposed aggregate with decorative
sawcutting and acid stained borders. We poured the bench
pillars with footings to limit movement from the frost. The
seating and treads for the steps was formed and poured in
the drive and colored to mimick limestone. We then
mounted them on a bed of mortar to complete the job.
